VuSwitch provides high-quality, multi-channel video distribution from a central point to remote display locations up to 200 metres away. Providing full viewer control of channel selection at the point of display. Together with the ability to control original receiving equipment using the manufacturer's own IR handset, or a parallel system control network.
VuSwitch receives audio and video channels from standard entertainment devices: from satellite, terrestrial and cable STBs and PVRs; DVD players; video and audio jukeboxes, games consoles and PCs. VuSwitch routes and directs audio and video streams through Cat5 cables to displays. At the receiving location, the selected audio and video stream is fed through a small receiver unit and on to a standard display device for channel selection and viewing.
Designed for domestic, marine and small-medium office use, VuSwitch provides the highest quality video and audio transmission, combined with sophisticated configuration potential, simple installation and set-up as well as quick and reliable operation.
VuSwitch is modular. It can be configured from 4 inputs and 4 outputs up to 16 inputs and 24 outputs. Installation is simple; requiring just a single Cat5 cable between each receiver and the VuSwitch unit, with no complicated set up procedure or balancing required.
VuSwitch receives and accepts all common analogue video formats, including RGBS, S-Video and composite, in any mixture, so no additional conversion is required.
