The router is a standard network device for cat5e or cat6 any SD or HD SDI format video to be distributed to any display point .
The Video and Audio highways and encoders receive analogue and digital signals from external devices,and convert the signals to a standard IP data packets.
The LCU converts the signal from the IP packets to any desired analogue or digital format for use with the local (to the LCU) audio and display equipment.
